RCI Registered 5000+ Clients Served Hindi & English All Timezones

Living abroad comes with a particular kind of loneliness that's hard to explain to anyone who hasn't felt it.

🏠

The pressure to hold it together

For family back home who don't see the full picture — and expect you to have figured it all out.

🌏

Relationships strained by distance

Cultural mismatch, the exhaustion of building a life in a new country, and not knowing who to talk to.

🧠

A therapist who gets the context

The family dynamics, the guilt, the identity questions — without you having to explain what it means to be Indian first.

You might be looking for this if…

You're Indian or of Indian origin, living outside India

You want a therapist who understands Indian family dynamics without needing to explain them from scratch

You're dealing with relationship stress, ADHD, anxiety, or workplace trauma

You need sessions that fit US, UAE, UK, or Canadian timezones

You want RCI-registered clinical psychologists — not counsellors or coaches

You prefer to speak in Hindi, English, or a mix of both

Therapy Services for NRIs — Online

Evidence-based approaches delivered by RCI-registered psychologists. All sessions are online, in English or Hindi, scheduled to your timezone.

CBT · Anxiety · OCD · ADHD

CBT Therapy with Indian Psychologists Online

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) is one of the most evidence-based approaches for anxiety, depression, OCD, and ADHD. Our RCI-registered psychologists deliver structured CBT online — in English or Hindi — tailored to the specific stressors NRIs face: performance pressure, immigrant guilt, career transitions, and the constant cultural code-switching.

EMDR · Trauma · PTSD

EMDR Therapy India — Online Sessions

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a gold-standard treatment for trauma, PTSD, and unresolved childhood experiences. Our trained EMDR therapists work online with NRI clients across all timezones — delivering the same clinical rigour you'd find in an in-person session, in a private and secure format.

Couples · Marriage · Relationship

Best Online Marriage Counselling India — For NRI Couples

Distance, cultural pressure, and transition stress strain even strong relationships. Our couples therapists work with NRI couples across different timezones — including sessions where one partner is in India and one is abroad. We use EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and the Gottman Method to rebuild communication and trust.

Somatic · Trauma-Informed · PTSD

Trauma Therapy for NRIs — Globally Available

Childhood trauma, relationship trauma, workplace PTSD — trauma doesn't care which country you're in. Our somatic and trauma-informed therapists work online with NRI clients globally, using Somatic Therapy, IFS, and trauma-focused CBT to help you feel safe in your body again, not just manage symptoms.

Anxiety · Depression · Life Transitions

Individual Therapy — Anxiety, Depression & Life Transitions

Moving countries, career changes, identity questions, family pressure — these are the specific life events our NRI clients most commonly come in for. Our individual therapy is not generic. It is culturally grounded, clinically rigorous, and deeply personal.

ADHD · Focus · Executive Function

ADHD Assessment & Therapy for NRI Adults

Many NRI professionals discover ADHD as adults — when the structure of education falls away and the demands of a new life overwhelm existing coping mechanisms. Our psychologists offer ADHD assessment, diagnosis support, and evidence-based therapy tailored for working adults abroad.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most Indian psychologists licensed in India are not licensed to practise in the US. However, CFM's RCI-registered psychologists offer online therapy to NRIs globally — you don't need a locally licensed therapist for emotional support, relationship counselling, or trauma work. Our sessions are delivered via secure video call and are legally and clinically appropriate for NRI clients worldwide.

Research consistently shows online therapy is as effective as in-person for anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many NRI clients prefer it — sessions are private, flexible, and don't require travel. You attend from the comfort of your home, and the therapeutic alliance — the quality of the relationship with your therapist — is just as strong.

Yes. Our therapists are fluent in Hindi and English and can conduct sessions in either language or a comfortable mix of both. Many NRI clients find that switching between Hindi and English mid-session feels most natural — and our therapists are entirely comfortable with that.

We work with clients across US (EST/PST), UAE (GST), UK (GMT/BST), Canada, and Australia. Sessions are scheduled to suit your timezone — including early mornings and evenings IST where needed. WhatsApp us to discuss your availability and we'll find a slot that works.

Yes. All therapists at CFM are registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) — the statutory body that regulates clinical psychology in India. RCI registration requires a recognised Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and supervised clinical practice. It is equivalent to what licensure means in the US or UK context.

Sessions range from ₹2,000 to ₹4,000 per 60-minute session (approximately $25–$50 USD), depending on the therapist's experience and specialisation. This is significantly more affordable than comparable clinical psychologists in the US, UK or UAE — with no compromise on clinical rigour. Your first discovery call is completely free.

CFM specialises in couples therapy for NRI couples — including situations where one partner is in India and one is abroad. Our relationship therapists use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, and understand the specific cultural dynamics that affect Indian couples: joint family pressures, arranged vs. love marriages, immigration stress, and cultural identity conflicts.

Ready to talk to someone who gets it?

Your first call is free. No pressure, no commitment — just a conversation to see if we're the right fit.
