Couples therapy that understands where you both come from.
Online marriage counselling for Indian couples in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and the Gulf — with India-based psychologists who understand in-laws, family expectations and life between two cultures.
At a glance
TL;DR
Moving abroad changes a marriage. The joint family that once absorbed stress — the aunt who helped with the baby, the parents who mediated fights — is now a video call away. At the same time, the expectations from home don't disappear. Couples counselling gives you a structured, neutral space to understand what is actually happening between you and to change it. Often one partner is hesitant about therapy. That's normal, and it's something we talk about openly — see why Indian men often struggle to say yes to couples therapy.
Coach For Mind is an India-based practice. Our Clinical Psychologists are registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), and our Counselling Psychologists are trained and practise in India. We are not licensed by health or licensing boards in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, the Gulf or any other country, and we do not bill overseas health insurance.
Online therapy is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services: in the US call or text 988 (or 911); in the UK call Samaritans on 116 123 (or 999); in Canada call or text 988; in Australia call Lifeline on 13 11 14 (or 000).

Yes. Coach For Mind offers online marriage and couples counselling for NRI and Indian-origin couples in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, the Gulf and elsewhere, over secure video with India-based psychologists. We are not licensed in your country of residence and do not bill overseas insurance.
Many NRI conflicts involve in-laws, family expectations, arranged-marriage dynamics, or decisions about moving back to India. An Indian couples therapist understands these without needing them explained, so sessions can focus on what is happening between the two of you.
Yes. Joint sessions work over video even when partners join from different locations, including when one partner is still in India. We find a time that works across both time zones.
Yes. Couples sessions are available in English, Hindi and Punjabi, and it is fine if each partner is more comfortable in a different language.
Our therapists offer early-morning and late-night IST sessions as well as daytime slots, so couples in North America, the UK, the Gulf and Asia-Pacific can usually find a time outside working hours. Bookings are confirmed in your local time.
That is common. One partner can start with individual sessions focused on the relationship, and many couples move to joint sessions later.
Yes. We work with intercultural couples where one partner is of Indian origin, helping both of you understand how family, culture and expectations shape the conflict.
For many couples, video-based couples therapy works well and makes it easier to attend consistently. Your therapist will tell you honestly if a local, in-person option would serve you better.
