An IQ (intelligence quotient) test is a standardised assessment of cognitive ability — reasoning, working memory, processing speed, and verbal and non-verbal problem-solving — compared against age-based norms. A clinical IQ test administered by an RCI-registered psychologist produces a valid, defensible score and a written report, unlike the free online quizzes that can't be used for school, admission, or diagnostic purposes. We assess both children and adults using the instrument best matched to age and purpose.
