Body-based trauma therapy for clients across Delhi — online from wherever you are, or in person at our Gurgaon centre in Sector 70. RCI-registered clinical practice. Transparent fees.
Yes — online anywhere in Delhi, or in person at our centre in Gurgaon. We do not have a clinic inside Delhi, and we would rather say so plainly. Most of our Delhi clients work with us online; others travel to our Sector 70 centre, particularly for the first few sessions. The therapist, the approach and the fee are the same either way, and you can move between the two.
If you are specifically looking for a practice with a physical address inside Delhi, we are not the right fit, and we would suggest you look for one. If what matters more is who you work with and how they work, read on.
Body-based therapy is often assumed to need a room. It usually does not. Here is how Delhi clients tend to decide.
Somatic work is done through your own attention to your own body, with no physical contact, so it translates well to video. Being in your own space is often an advantage: regulation is something you ultimately need to practise where you live, not only in a therapist's office. It also removes a cross-city commute from a session that may leave you tired.
Some people find it easier to settle in a separate, quiet room away from home, especially early on or when home itself does not feel private. Our centre is at 8-03A, My Tower, Reach 3 Roads, Sector 70, Gurugram 122008, with soundproof rooms and weekend appointments. Many clients do the first few sessions in person and then continue online.
You stay seated and clothed, you talk, and your therapist periodically asks what you notice in your body as you do. Difficult material is approached in small doses, with deliberate returns to steadiness in between. Nothing happens without your agreement, and the last part of every session is spent settling so you do not leave activated. Online sessions follow exactly the same structure.
The first session is mostly history and orientation: what brought you, what you have already tried, and how your body tends to respond under stress. Sessions can feel slower than people expect. That pacing is intentional — the goal is a nervous system that settles, not a dramatic release.

Somatic and trauma-focused therapy in Delhi typically costs between ₹1,500 and ₹4,000 for a 60-minute session. Where a practitioner sits in that range usually reflects their core qualification and experience. Online sessions generally cost the same as in-person ones. Figures quoted in US dollars online do not reflect Indian fees.
Per 60-minute session, depending on the therapist. Same rate for online sessions from Delhi and in-person sessions in Gurgaon.
Outpatient psychotherapy is not generally reimbursed under Indian health insurance policies, so plan on paying out of pocket.
Check the practitioner's core mental health qualification first, and their somatic training second. "Somatic practitioner" is not a regulated title in India, and Delhi has a wide mix of psychotherapists, bodyworkers and wellness providers using it. A qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist who works somatically is a safer starting point for trauma than someone whose only credential is a short course.
Reasonable questions to ask anyone you are considering: what their primary qualification is and whether they are registered with the RCI; which somatic modality they have trained in and whether they completed the full sequence; whether the work involves touch; and what they do when a client dissociates or shuts down in session.
At Coach For Mind, several of our therapists work somatically and two members of the team have completed formal somatic therapy training. We do not describe anyone as a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). We will tell you exactly what training your therapist holds before you book.
