About Mr. Sagar Takker
Trauma Informed | Counselling Psychologist | Relationship
Concerns Specialist
Mr. Sagar Takker is a counselling psychologist who works
with individuals navigating emotional pain, traumatic
experiences, and longstanding patterns that feel difficult to
shift.
With an MSc in Psychology (Gold Medalist) from Banaras
Hindu University, along with certifications in Clinical
Hypnotherapy and Trauma-Informed Care, Sagar brings
both academic rigor and clinical sensitivity to his work. His
approach is grounded, compassionate, and deeply
respectful of each client’s pace, inner world, and readiness
for change.
He supports clients dealing with complex trauma,
attachment wounds, emotional dysregulation, and struggles
with self-identity—often helping those who feel
overwhelmed by their emotions, caught in cycles of guilt or
shame, or unsure of who they are beneath these
experiences. He also supports individuals facing
depression, anxiety, OCD, burnout, and sleep-related
difficulties.
In his work with relationships, he supports individuals and
couples in strengthening communication, setting
boundaries, and building safer, more secure connections.
His therapeutic style is integrative and experiential, drawing
from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy
(AEDP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Behavioral
Therapies and Gottman-based couples therapy. Sessions
are attuned to both emotional experience and practical
change—helping clients understand their patterns, regulate
intense emotions, and reconnect with a sense of inner
stability and self-trust.

attuned—someone who creates a safe, non-judgmental
space where difficult emotions can be explored without
feeling rushed or overwhelmed. His work focuses not just
on symptom relief, but on helping clients feel more
connected to themselves and more grounded in their
relationships and lives.
