Life has its own ways to test us and make us stronger (if we are willing).
As humans, all of us are bound to go through tough times at some stage of the life or the other, irrespective of the age.
It can happen in many ways like work stress, relationship issues, family problems, bullying, financial crisis, failure, loneliness, sexual abuse, discrimination, the death of someone, accident, illness, inability to find meaning in life, dissatisfaction from work etc etc etc.
All these external problems can have a very deep impact on our mind and emotions, which can result in depression and other similar problems.
In such situations, it is quite common for the individual, going through the problems, to isolate himself/herself from others and suffer in silence. This individual, instead of seeking help and support, takes all the blame on himself/herself, which leads to even more misery.
And remember, the percentage of people going through such issues is not small. Just think about all the people you know closely and see how many of them are going through inner misery.
That is why it is extremely important for all of us to be aware and create awareness about mental health and emotional well-being. All of us need to unite and help each other to live a happy, prosperous and fulfilling life.
