Why do we have the gate in our houses, why not just walls?
Because walls in a house provide a sense of safety and security, but gates provide a possibility to go out and explore, which is a must for growth.
But when it comes to our career, we only prefer to build walls to feel safe and secure. Most people don’t prefer to have a gate in their house (career).
Walls and gate both are equally important when it comes to deciding what we really want to do in our life.

Being with family and friends is an essential part of life. Celebrating, talking, discussing, sharing, enjoying and sometimes just being with them without doing anything, can give deeper meaning to our lives.
As it is beautifully described in the movie ‘Into the wild’,
“Happiness is only real when shared.”
But remember these people are not necessarily our family members, but those with whom we can relate to. That is why we use the word ‘Relatives’, ones with whom we can relate to. However, this word is sometimes used for meaningless relationships. Anyhow 🙂

Life outside works pretty much like a sinusoidal function. There are some situations of pleasure and some of pain.
The outside can never be controlled to work 100% according to what we want.
What can be controlled is our reaction to the external situation. All of this control mechanism is within, not without. That is where the pleasure and pain are occurring.
Once we work inwardly, it is possible to synthesize happiness, sadness or any other emotions, with full control over it. But it can be a long journey, at least for me.
As Mark Twain said, “I have been through terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened.”

Today’s mind lesson is that, if you don’t provide your system (Body + Mind) the required sleep, you can never experience life to its full potential.
PS: It’s a fashion statement in modern society to sleep for fewer hours

“The meaning of life is to give life meaning.”
Four possible options for Meaning in Life:
- Meaninglessness
- Constructive Meaning
- Destructive Meaning
- Natural or Existential Meaning

A large chunk of young people wants to find a meaningful career, a career with a purpose. But most of them end up compromising, why?
There are many external factors which would make you feel like compromising but if you take good care of your internal factors, dealing with the external factors won’t be too difficult.
PS: There is a big difference between a Goal and a Purpose.

The role of these sugar crystals is to dissolve themselves completely into whatever food they are put into. This process of becoming one with the other gives rise to a tasty and sweetened experience.
What if we also become one with whatever work we do in our daily lives, providing our full attention to the task at hand.
If this happens then there is a possibility of this whole process of doing that task to become a tasty and sweetened experience.
Most of us never put ourselves fully into our work and then blame others for the bitter taste of the process of doing our work.

How old is the human body in this picture?
Maybe 25-30 year old. But what about the DNA history this body has been carrying with for so long.
Some part of this body has seen all the construction and destruction of the world.
It has seen and experienced life, death, love, joy, sorrow, pain, guilt, proud, respect, ecstasy… & many more.
I wonder if we can explore all aspects of human existence within this body.

When it comes to knowing thyself intellect appears to be of limited use, as intellect cannot understand the unconscious mind until it is free from the unconscious mind (learning of many years).
