Problems are part and parcel of our lives. Different people have different kinds of problems such as family issues, academic problems, health problems, career issues, politics at work, financial problems, relationship issues and many others.
After facing so many problems a lot of people tend to become dull, depressed and hopeless. Through their perspective, life is very difficult, you can’t trust anyone, there is no hope, everything is becoming worse with time.
But are we (as human beings) just supposed to face one problem after the other, is that what life is all about? Or is there something more to it?
In another perspective, every problem is nothing but an opportunity to evolve as a human being. To make ourselves better through every single problem we face.
One such opportunity is to become self-aware. In every difficult situation, there is always a possibility to become self-aware and see what is happening within us (at the level of body, thoughts, and emotions). One has the opportunity to become aware of What is happening to one’s thoughts?, Which emotion is getting triggered? Is there any change in breathing pattern or heartbeat?, What can I learn from this situation?, Is there any other perspective to look at this situation?
This self-awareness can help us to restructure our reaction in a given set of circumstances. This helps us not to become a victim, neither of the situation nor of our mind. Slowly and gradually, this awareness takes us from a ‘Victim’ Mode to a ‘Creator’ Mode.
PS: Most problems have some solution or the other, but there are some problems where acceptance is the best possible solution.
