“In the sessions I had with Mr. Vineet Tripathy, I felt heard. I felt understood. I felt someone was trying to sympathise with my problems while trying to help me rationalize with them. I was allowed to unwind and open up at my own pace. I feel sometimes all we need is someone who would just listen and understand without judgement and that offloads a lot of emotional burden we carry in our heads and I got exactly that. I could not be more grateful for what I got from these sessions. But after all these 20 odd sessions am I a perfect person? No. Certainly not. But I am no longer crying over my imperfections. I embrace them with compassion exactly how I was shown during the sessions.”

“I know, one of the things I was told to refrain from is doing the comparisons but for the sake of this review, allow me to start with it. I had spoken to a few therapists before. The first one said I have no problems at all, it is just in my head. He told me to think, that I have no issues and gave tips on following a routine. The second therapist told me I have serious issues identifying and managing my emotions and gave me tips on how to manage them better. I followed their advice and they worked for a few days and I was back to cribbing about confusing things going on in my head. As opposed to that, in the sessions we had, I felt heard. “ I have tried counselling twice before with different counsellors before I started with Vineet and my experience with him has been truly transforming, unlike previous counsellors. In my sessions with Vineet, I always feel comfortable to be just myself, knowing that I am being listened to without judgement. Although in the 1st month or so I had my apprehensions due to previous bad experiences, slowly I started realizing that he is the right counsellor for me. His humanistic, existential and trauma-informed approach to counselling helped me overcome my anxiety, overthinking, relationship and professsional issues to a great extent. He is one of the best persons I met, and I am extremely grateful that I found him as my counsellor.”
